The Phocos Any-Grid ™ PSW-B series(Pure Sine Wave Battery Inverter Charger) is part of Phocos’ versatile Any-Grid series of inverters / chargers. Flexibility and reliability are key features of this product range, with strong potential for real-world cost-saving opportunities. The Any-Grid PSW-B converts DC (direct current) to AC (alternating current), with multiple advantages over standard inverters. This product includes a built-in MPPT charge controller and can act as an AC to DC battery charger, which provides flexible power solutions in a wide range of applications. The battery can be charged from solar and/or an AC power source (utility grid or generator ), with easily programmable priorities.
The Any-Grid PSW-B can operate without an AC source, or alternatively even without solar, as a pure uninterruptible power supply (UPS). When the mains or AC generator fails, the PSW-B immediately switches to ‘Off-Grid’ mode within 10ms (typical, in UPS mode) to safely power the loads at all times. Solar can be set as a priority power source to save electricity costs. This unit has a quality built-in MPPT charge controller, avoiding the need to purchase a separate solar charge controller. Solar panels can be connected directly to the Any-Grid PSW-B module. the PSW-B immediately switches to ‘Off-Grid’ mode within 10ms (typical, in UPS mode) to safely power the loads at all times.
